Abstrakt: Traces of As, Bi, Cr, Mn, Ni, Sb, Se and Te in pure copper were determined by means of electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry using continuum source background correction and computer signal processing. The effect of the copper matrix on the atomic absorption signals close to the noise level and on sensitivity are studied. The limits of detection were determined in the presence of 50 μg of copper.
