Abstrakt: The article focuses on a research conducted in order to evaluate the effects of the presence of conspecifics on sodium chloride (NaCl) resource foraging in the yellow-spined locust, Ceracris kiangsu (C. kiangsu). It discusses the influence of conspecific decoys (dried C. kiangsu) on foraging and consumption of NaCl-treated filter paper. The study revealed the presence of conspecifics in promoting feeding on puddling resources.
