Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on community composition and structure of the ground-dwelling arthropod assemblage of Valdes Peninsula, Argentina. The most abundant species were Pheidole bergi, Formicidae and Blapstinus punctulatus, Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae. The findings of the study were useful for management and conservation purposes in arid Patagonia.
