| Abstrakt: | The article reports that the International Broadband Electric Communications (IBEC), an operator of Access Broadband over Power Lines (BPL) systems, has announced that it would close down. IBEC explains its difficulty of recovering financially from the April 2011 tornadoes in Alabama, leaving it no other option than to close its operations. An overview of the December 23, 2011 letter sent by IBEC to customers is provided. |
