Abstrakt: Boone (U.S.D.A. B 880-4) is a late-maturing, high-yielding variety. The tubers are medium oblong, very smooth and shallow-eyed. They do not sprout in storage until late in the spring. Boone is highly resistant to, if not immune from, the common race of the late blight fungus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
