The process of formation of boron nitride from homogeneous highly dispersed charges prepared from a solution of boric acid and sucrose is retarded by the carbide formation reaction. The addition in the stage of preparation of the solutions of additions which in subsequent heat treatment hinder appearance of highly defective forms of BO and carbon promotes an increase in yield of nitride.
