Abstrakt: The particles of ultrafinely divided nickel produced by the thermal decomposition of complexes of nickel formate with MEA are characterized by several types of structure: faceted stable single crystals (mean size of the order of tens of nanometers) coated with organic films; small agglomerates of such single crystals; large stable globules; and hexa- and trihedral crystals formed as a result of the influence of the glass reactor wall.
