Abstrakt: Using as our example, a quartz-ceramic concrete with a rigidly fixed framework of filler, we have studied the effect of the firing temperature and the concentration of solid phase in the bonding suspension on the properties of the material. The quartz-ceramic concrete had a true porosity of 12-16%; ultimate compressive strength of 25-95 MPa; ultimate bend strength of 1.0-9.5 MPa; excellent thermal-shock resistance, and refractoriness; and a low thermal conductivity.
