In the case of irradiation of aqueous and ethanol solutions of the triamine EnPyNOClNOPtCl with unfiltered UV light, intermediate compounds were isolated, which, according to the data of chemical analysis and the IR spectra, are complexes in which there is a Pt(II)...Pt(IV) interaction. The product isolated from an irradiated ethanol solution of the initial triamine contains N-nitrosylated ethylenediamine and has the composition [Pt(II), Pt(IV)(NHCHNNO)ClPy].
