Abstrakt: The radiographic changes in the stomach following drainage procedures for pancreatic pseudocysts are described and illustrated. Principles of modern surgical techniques are reviewed and the occurrence and significance of barium reflux into the cyst are discussed. Contrary to previous statements, it is pointed out that reflux into the cyst may occur following Roux-en-Y cystojejunostomies. Radiographic presentations mimicking peptic ulcers, rigid gastric segments, and pseudodiverticula formation, related to the healing postoperative process, are emphasized. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
