The formerly unknown Si-dodecamethyl-cyclo-hexasila-3,6,9-triazane (-Si meSi meNH-) ( 4) was detected in low yield (3-5%) among the reaction products of dichlorotetramethyldisilane and ammonia. The already known main product (50%) Si-octamethyl-cyclo-tetrasila-3,6-diazane (-Si meSi meNH-) ( 3) reacted after metallation with chloromethylsilanes meSiCl ( n=0−3) to give the N,N′-disubstituted cyclotetrasiladiazanes 11-14, from which 12 was transformed with ammonia to the corresponding N,N′-bis(aminodimethylsilyl) derivative 15, and 13 with metallated methylamine to the corresponding N,N′-bis[bis(dimethylamino)methylsily]derivative 16. Attempts to construct novel SiN frameworks ( g) or ( k)-( m) failed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
