The multipole mixing ratios of 11 electromagnetic transitions in the decay ofDy following the β decay ofTb are measured by the γ-γ(θ) directional correlation method. The observed mixing ratios show that the transitions de-exciting the γ-band are predominantly E2, and that the gamma-rays originating from the rotational levels are predominantly E1. The 879 keV transition may have an E0 and the 197 keV transition may have an M3 component. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
