Abstrakt:	The article analyzes the poem "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvell. Specific attention is given to the poem's use of first- and second-person pronouns, which the author suggests is used to develop the poem's tone as well as the relationship with the mistress featured in the work. She also examines the shift between singular and plural nouns and how this impacts the relationship between the speaker and the mistress.
