Abstrakt: Acute cholestasis was initiated in male Wistar rats by administration of taurolithocholate (TLC). Ultrastructural morphometric data of the hepatocellular endoplasmic reticulum were compared with the content of microsomal cytochrome P450. The results showed a hypertrophic endoplasmic reticulum associated with normalactivity of cytochrome P450 in TLC cholestasis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
