A case of myelolipoma arising from an accessory adrenal gland is reported. The accessory adrenal gland is a developmental anomaly, recognized often in the periadrenal fatty tissue at post-mortem examination. Myelolipoma of accessory adrenal gland should be considered when a suprarenal fat-containing tumor is seen separately from a normal-shaped adrenal gland. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
