The Report of the Council Session of the Royal Historical Society for 2010-2011 is presented. It includes the election of officers at the November 26, 2010 meeting including vice presidents R. Baldock and C. Kidd, honorary treasurer M. J. Hughes, and honorary director of communications E. Griffin. Committee reports of the Research Policy Committee, Education Policy Committee, and General Purposes Committee are presented. Papers delivered at meetings of the society included those on topics including media in early modern England, the impact of the 1848 European revolutions on politics, and Georgian England. |
