The article focuses on a speech delivered by pork producer Pat Titus to the Ambucs Club in Danville about the National Pork Board's Operation Main Street (OMS) program. The OMS volunteer speakers spoke of how the pork industry is working to improve how food is raised and provide consumers with healthy choices. The program has also trained almost 950 volunteer speakers in more than 30 states in the U.S. during its seventh year. Other assistance provided by OMS speakers is also noted. |
