The article describes a case study of borderline hypoxemic patients who suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The author presents a care report of a female smoker who experienced severe dyspnoea in her previous flights. The available physiological tests used in examining the fitness of a person for flight are cited. |
