Abstrakt: The formation of impurity complexes in metals studied with the time differential perturbed angular correlation (TDPAC) technique is reviewed. A short description of the TDPAC method is followed by two examples of its possible applications: internal oxidation studies in alloys and the investigation of the chemical interaction between impurity atoms of two elements embedded in metallic matrices.
