C( K) quotients of separable ℒ spaces.

Abstrakt: It is shown that if X is an ℒ⫗ space with separable dual, then X has a quotient isomorphic to C( ω) if, and only if, there is an ɛ >0, such that the ɛ-Szlenk index of X is at least α. It was previously known, that if X is a separable ℒ⫗ space with a non-separable dual, then X has a quotient isomorphic to C[0, 1]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
