Abstrakt: Complexes of stoichiometry [CuLX] where X=Cl, Br and L=2-acetylpyridine N-diethyl- and N-dipropylthiosemicarbazone, HL4DE and HL4DP, respectively, have substantially more activity against Aspergillus niger and Paecilomyces variotii than the uncomplexed thiosemicarbazones. Spectral data ( i.e., i.r., u.v.vis., and e.s.r) of the complexes are presented along with thermodynamic data for the thiosemicarbazones. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
