Abstrakt: Reactions between PdCl or [PdCI], in nonpolar solvents and phosphines RPH or RPH (R = cyclohexyl, 2-cyanoethyl) yield new complexes of cis- LPdCl type, which were characterized by their spectral properties. In polar solvents these complexes react further to give bridged µ-phosphido complexes. Analogous bromides can be prepared by adding LiBr to the reaction mixtures. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
