Abstrakt: In the interaction of N-dialkylanilines with benzoyl peroxide there is a transfer of one electron with the formation of the corresponding radical cations. Radical cations of N,N-tetraalkylbenzidines are formed as secondary conversion products of the radical cations of N-dialkylanilines, which exhibit paramagnetic properties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
