Abstrakt: | The article presents the results of a study which investigated the effect of capsaicin supplementation on repeated sprinting performance. An overview of related previous research is provided, detailing the physiological and metabolic influences of capsaicin upon exercise performance and inflammation. Details of the experiment protocol are also presented, including use of a placebo-controlled crossover study and interval repeated sprint tests upon the test group of men. |
