The CLEO experiment at the CESR, collider has used 13.7 fb[sup -l] of data to search for the production of the ω[sup 0, sub c] (css-ground state) in e[sup +]e[sup -] collisions at √s ... 10.6 GeV. The modes used to study the ω[sup 0, sub c] are ω[sup -]π[sup +], ω[sup 1]π[sup +] &pi[sup 0], Ξ[sup -]K[sup -]π[sup +]π[sup +], ξ[sup 0]K[sup -]π[sup +], and &omega[sup -]π[sup +]π[sup +]π[sup -]. We observe a signal of 40.4±9.0(stat) events at a mass of 2694.6±2.6(stat)±l.9(syst) MeV/c², for all modes combined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
