Abstrakt: Questions of calculation of the dynamic properties of a rotor system are considered. It is shown that in the stage of preliminary design of a rotor the values of the optimum damping in the system may be determined approximately. Equations are obtained for calculation of the optimum damping at the first, second, and third natural frequencies of rotation. The theory of a rotor system with a controllable vibration system is considered. Questions of vibration diagnostics of a controllable rotor system are touched upon. A design of self-adjusting radial hydrostatic bearing with the capability of vibration diagnosing of it is proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
