Abstrakt:	The article presents an outlook for politics in Madagascar for 2012. The prevention of Former President Marc Ravalomanana to enter the country corroborates a sceptical view on the implementation to end a three-year political stalemate. With the subsequent withdrawal of supporters of Ravalomanna from parliament informs that elections will be unlikely scheduled in September 2012. Ravalomanana has been sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for his order to kill protesters in the 2009 coup.
