Abstrakt: | A dilatometer, previously described by Salway, has been employed in the study of fats and their composition. Reproducibility of data in measuring fat volume change with temperature has been demonstrated. Fats and fat mixtures of widely different composition have been studied. The results show that fat differences as reflected in component fatty acid differences can be detected by use of a dilatometer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
