Abstrakt: Nitrogen lowers and chromium raises (with >3% N) the strength (σσ), ductility (δ, ψ), and fracture toughness of austenitic stainless steel of the Kh(18-24)N20 type in the aged condition. The effect of chromium on the properties is due to a change in the solubility of nitrides. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
