The article reports that the U.S. congress funded 1.4 billion dollar to Coast Guard acquisition budget for surface ships, aviation assets and C4ISR needs for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It stated that the Coast Guard is getting 358 million dollar to acquire 6 Fast Response Cutters (FRC) for acquiring the data and licensing rights from shipbuilder Bollinger Shipyards. |
