Distribution of mercury in neonatal guinea pigs after exposure to mercury vapor.

Abstrakt: The article presents a study which clarifies the distribution and accumulation of mercury in neonatal guinea pigs after mercury vapor exposure. The study used the mercury-binding assay, ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometric method, and gel filtration. Results show that the mercury concentrations in neonatal brain were 28% while 64% in heart.
