Abstrakt: After 12 months' storage of seven strains of four species of coagulase-negative staphylococci maintained in a skimmed milk solution at −70°C or with freeze-drying, changes of the biological properties were observed. The alteration was especially significant in storage by freeze-drying. A major factor of this alteration was assumed to be the effect of the process of freeeze-drying. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
