Abstrakt:	Investigates the effect of prolonged administration of corticotropin in high dosage on the function of the adrenal cortex and the pituitary gland. Action of adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH); Treatment of patients with chronic ulcerative colitis or regional enteritis with ACTH; Increased responsiveness of the adrenal cortex to stimulation with corticotropin.
