Abstrakt: The article reports on mercury exposure in March 2010 among household users and nonusers in California and Virginia. The California Department of Public Health (CPDH) and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) interviewed households who could have been exposed to mercury from the use of an unlabeled skin-lightening cream produced in Mexico. According to the investigation, nine users and six nonusers were confirmed to have been exposed to mercury.
