The article focuses on new developed alternative bioinformatics-driven method to decrease the test needed in analyzing genetic disease. It says an applied methodology is used to discover genes associated with systematic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Results show that a single identified mutation in neutrophil cytosolic factor (NCF2) contributes to the reduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and that NCF2 plays a significant function in predisposition to SLE. |
