A profile is presented of Edgewater's owner, the retired Wall Street financier and preservationist Richard Hampton Jenrette, who purchased the property in 1969 from the American author Gore Vidal. An overview of the house's history is provided. Mention is also made of Jenrette's art and furniture collections. |
