Analysis of a transistor LCC resonant DC/DC converter with a capacitive output filter, operating at frequencies, higher than the resonant frequency, is presented in the paper. The influence of the snubber capacitors and the matching transformer has been taken into account during the analysis. The possible modes of converter operation have been determined. The control characteristics of the converter have been built. The boundary curves between the various modes of operation have been shown in the plane of these characteristics, along with the area of natural commutation of the transistors. The results from the analysis have been confirmed by a computer simulation of the converter by means of the software package OrCAD PSpice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
