| Abstrakt: | The article focuses on a story from gospel for the third Sunday in Lent. It is the story of Jesus Christ cleansing the temple. Maintenance of peace between Rome and the people was the duty of the temple authorities and they could give capital punishment for any violation. For the religious practices of the people to be observed, currency and animals were exchanged. |
