The author offers opinions on North Dakota. He cites his personal experiences as a hunter in and resident of the state to support the contention that outdoor recreation, wildlife and wildlife habitat are the vital factors in the state's quality of life, and he expresses concern that the development of energy resources such as oil and natural gas will permanently alter the state's environment. |
