| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information on microscopic events that occur when shear strain is applied to the collagen fiber network of biopolymers. It discusses the various physical processes that result in fiber rearrangements within the network causing stress propagation along the fiber. Figures depicting the monitoring of structural rearrangements in collagen fibers with the help of imaging techniques are also presented. |
