The article discusses economic and political outlook for Thailand from 2012 to 2016. It is predicted that the victory of the Puea Thai party in the July 2011 election will not end the power struggle in the country. While consumer prices is estimated to increase by 4.2% in 2011, inflation is forecasted to average at 3.7% annually in the forecast period.
