The article presents a case study that assesses the integration of risk-management tools to define and drive a minimum consistency in cleaning practices in nonsterile finished pharmaceutical manufacturing areas. It notes that cleaning procedures must be effective in visually eliminating product residues and extraneous matter. Furthermore, the application of a structured and standardized approach has significantly reduced and mitigated the risk following routine facility audits. |
