The article discusses the different views of manufacturers on the use of hybrid combines in farming. It says that John Deere has dropped the option for its latest combine range and New Holland does not offer hybrid machines while Massey Ferguson has opted to use such a system. According to New Holland, it has not taken the hybrid route but has continued to support the rotary system. The advantages of hybrid combines over full rotaries are also discussed. |
