The article discusses the results of a study of unconventional yarn structure and its fabric properties. Among the unconventional spinning systems are air-jet and rotor spinning. Some of the properties of various fabric assessed in the study include tensile properties, yarn crimp and tearing strength. Results show that the ring spun yarn is ideal for end use fabric and the most versatile is the ring spinning. |
