The article focuses on wrongful death lawsuits and the award of hedonic damages in Arkansas tort law. Information is provided on how Arkansas amended award statutes in 2010 to allow an estate or survivor to recover damages, a practice known as loss-of-life compensation. It is noted that juries must determine the amount of awards through evidence. |
