The article presents information on the Top 40 Power Players of the chemical industry. Jim Gallogly, chief executive officer (CEO) of LyondellBasell Industries NV, is at the top of the list for leading the company out of bankruptcy and transforming it into a financially robust player. Andrew Liveris, chairman of Dow Chemical, is at the second place. Other leaders in the list include Ben van Beurden, executive vice president of Shell Chemicals, and Jim Ratcliffe, chairman of INEOS. |
