The article reports the increasing role of Pharmacists in health system in Minnesota which has improved the outcomes of patient care. As mentioned, Pharmacists are taught to work in a team of health care professionals and give their services especially to heart, diabetes and hypertension patients. University of Minnesota and various health care payers have recognized the benefit of this system, like preventing adverse drug events, reducing medical costs and medication management for chronic diseases. |
