| Abstrakt: | The article presents a forecast for the financial services sector of Thailand from 2012-2016. It states that the sector is small and accounts four percent of gross domestic product (GDP). It expects that bank deposits will grow at an annual rate of 10-5% as well as bank lending by 10.7% in local-currency terms during the forecast period. It predicts that personal disposable income per head will increase to 3,311 U.S. dollars in 2016. |
