The article focuses on the revolution that ended the 29-year rule of Hosni Mubarak, the former President of Egypt. The uprising which began on January 25, 2011, brought an end to a period of stagnation, corruption, and humiliation. Information on different social groups that joined to oppose the regime is also presented. |
