The article presents a case of a 16 months of age male infant who was born at 27 weeks gestation requiring ventilation for respiratory distress syndrome. Chest radiographs and abdominal imaging were taken when he was at 4 weeks of age, at 8 months of age, and at 16 months of age wherein it confirmed a diaphragmatic hernia. The article discusses the late presentation of congenital diaphragmatic hernia and the importance of considering undiagnosed congenital defects in children. |
